Caught in the Act...who?

Once upon a time...
I was a crazy fan girl of Caught in the Act (CITA).

Like...WHO?

It's the name of a boyband and they came to Singapore to promote their album back in erhh...
let's just say, it's a VERY long time ago.

One of their stops was a radio station(forgot which radio station it was!) situated in Takashimaya.
G**** (censored to protect the not so innocent) and I were waiting for them to appear and when they finally did, we had to push and stampede on other people (fan girl motto : smash others or get smashed) to get to the front to say hello (meaning : scream your lungs out) to CITA.

After a short interview, which I can't even remember what was asked and a short snippet of their singing, can't remember what song either, they were whisked away to another location.

And us desperate fan girls of course hadn't had enough of our handsome Greek gods right?
We gave chase through the shopping mall and basically the blind were leading the blind and somehow we ended up at Takashimaya's basement carpark, where we did more screaming and were rewarded with a back end view of this van (was it white in color?) supposedly ferrying CITA members.
Tried to chase down the van and did even more screaming.

See how easily satisfied fan girls are?
Not even a sight of their idols, only the van that their sitting in can incite screams.

So that's the most bo liao thing I've ever done for my idol.

After so many years of doing that 1 embarrassing thing,
I can't for the life of me remember why I liked them in the first place.

Maybe it was their singing?
Maybe it was their looks?

I did some research and finally found the answer.

This was the 1st MV I saw of CITA via the now defunct
Vidz Vidz Vidz (or something like that, hosted by Annabelle Francis and Mark Richmond)

Can you understand why now?
The sun, sand and sea...
It was the MV's background scenery that started the whole CITA craze of course!
*liar*
What's there NOT to like?

Another favourite song from them.

You Know

A better quality video from an interview, performing You Know in the later half.

(you have to check it out for the background dancing and lighter wave man...)

And then there was Take That, Worlds Apart, Backstreet Boys, Boyzone etc etc...

Another story for another post.
