Majorly exciting!!! It feels like I've upgraded from some random cargo carrier to First Class on Singapore Airlines. =)) hahahha!! Can't help but do the funky chicken dance!! Join me! =))
Think this is pretty funny. Didn't realize it until it was pointed out.
It can scarcely bring itself to utter the word casino, preferring instead to describe its new attractions as “integrated resorts”. From economist.com
Today, I thought was gonna be a shitty day. Literally. Walked past Clementi MRT Station where it's under going major construction. The smell of sewage bombarded my nostrils. It feels like even if I held my breath, the smell would permeate through my ears.
Or maybe I just woke up too early at 7am and my mood wasn't too great. But it's been increasingly better...class was ok, some good kids who listen well and some stubborn kids who just refuse to listen.
Then I was tempted to go Melbourne by Fi... VERY TEMPTED!!! But it's trip or new phone.
Then I find out Ena's coming back to SG!! WOOHOO!!
Then finally decided that I'll be getting the phone instead!!
Later on today, I'll be getting my new phone. After many, MANNNYYYY months of waiting and @ least 4 years using my NOKIA 6070 !!! I'll be going down to Singtel, buy the Blackberry 9700 and sign up on the Blackberry Flexi Plan. SO FREAKING AWESOME!!
More about my trusty NOKIA 6070 : Bought it when my phone before it went "swimming", it's keypad is really good to use and that's 1 huge reason why I've been resisting all phones after it. But sadly, it has no 3G, no GPS, no bluetooth and with an internal memory of 3.2MB(no card slot!), I can probably store 1mp3 song and that's it.
It's a phone that I see alot of Uncles using. And people normally tell me: "My father uses this phone." =S
So by tomorrow, I'll be saying Goodbye to my little Nokia and HELLOto Big Brother Blackberry!!!
OMG!!! So excited!!! =)) HELLO!! to potential BBMers!!! HELLO!! to my potential BB Casings!!! wahahhahaha!!! =))
Seems like I do most of my thinking while on the bus. Not that I stop thinking when I'm not-on-the-bus. But there are a great many other things to distract me when I'm at home(internet/tv/drama series/etc etc) or out with friends(food/gossip/shopping/eye candies...). Thus I reserve my thoughts on more important issues to be thought about on the bus.
One of the more important issue I've been thinking about... Stop spending so much time online.
On average, I think I spend at least 5hrs online per day. Mostly due to surfing on Facebook(have stopped this!!! YAY ME!!) or watching many MANY korean drama series.
So I'll be stopping my addiction to drama series and spend more time on many other things. Hopefully better and more constructive other things. =))
Just found out... Maybe I'm just slow or whatever, the iPod is included inside the iPhone.
So the iPod nano features I was looking at is available IN the iPhone. WAH LAU!!! Luckily I didn't stupidly get the iPhone and iPod nano simultaneously.
The only crappy thing is iPhone is SOOOO bulky compared to the nano.
Either I waste money or just put up with the bulkiness. Like I said, it's frustrating!!!!!! Still have 1-2 months to think about it.
Once upon a time... I was a crazy fan girl of Caught in the Act(CITA).
Like...WHO?
It's the name of a boyband and they came to Singapore to promote their album back in erhh... let's just say, it's a VERY long time ago.
One of their stops was a radio station(forgot which radio station it was!) situated in Takashimaya. G**** (censored to protect the not so innocent) and I were waiting for them to appear and when they finally did, we had to push and stampede on other people (fan girl motto : smash others or get smashed) to get to the front to say hello (meaning : scream your lungs out) to CITA.
After a short interview, which I can't even remember what was asked and a short snippet of their singing, can't remember what song either, they were whisked away to another location.
And us desperate fan girls of course hadn't had enough of our handsome Greek gods right? We gave chase through the shopping mall and basically the blind were leading the blind and somehow we ended up at Takashimaya's basement carpark, where we did more screaming and were rewarded with a back end view of this van (was it white in color?) supposedly ferrying CITA members. Tried to chase down the van and did even more screaming.
See how easily satisfied fan girls are? Not even a sight of their idols, only the van that their sitting in can incite screams.
So that's the most bo liao thing I've ever done for my idol.
After so many years of doing that 1 embarrassing thing, I can't for the life of me remember why I liked them in the first place.
Maybe it was their singing? Maybe it was their looks?
I did some research and finally found the answer.
This was the 1st MV I saw of CITA via the now defunct Vidz Vidz Vidz(or something like that, hosted by Annabelle Francis and Mark Richmond)
Can you understand why now? The sun, sand and sea... It was the MV's background scenery that started the whole CITA craze of course! *liar* What's there NOT to like?
Another favourite song from them.
You Know
A better quality video from an interview, performing You Know in the later half.
